Head to the hall to meet the resident witch in her Halloween Grotto, have a go at some spells and try to beat her riddles – if you dare! All brave souls will receive a special Halloween gift. There’s also a Magic Potions and Secret Spellsevent on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 October;stop by the kitchen and have a go at making a ‘magic potion’ and decorating the bottle ready to do some magic at home. Thrill-seekers should head to the Helly Hansen Watersports Centrefor itsAqua Activities; try a taster of different watersports including kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing or raft building. The courseruns from Monday 22 to Friday 26 October. And for the brave, book on to the Halloween Night Swim, suitable for age 14 years and over. Join the 300m or 500m spooky swimloop of Salford Quays. A spooky themed Makers Marketwill take place on Saturday 27- Sunday 28 October, featuring frightfully good artisan foods, drinks, and award-winning craftsmen on its open-air Plaza area. There willalso be live music, and activities for children too.Set sail, and take a boat ride along Manchester’s historic ship canal and explore the city’s stunning scenery with City Centre Cruises,which offer a range of cruise attractions, including a Sunday Lunch Cruise– the perfect way to unwind with the family after a busy weekend.
